Why Would Anyone Want To Be A Firefighter?
Why a person decides to become a firefighter is not an easy question to answer. Until you’ve been a firefighter and first-hand experience, you can not really grasp the reality of all the feelings that come with the job. Have you ever done something nice for someone and got that feeling inside? It makes you feel as if you fly? You feel all warm and fuzzy inside and can not really explain why? Well, that’s why those who dedicate themselves to stopping the fire service. Try to imagine how you would feel if you just save a life or save someone you do not even know any other reason they needed help. Can you imagine how you would feel this task? That’s what the firefighter feels every time a life is saved or a home is to stop combustion.
Being a firefighter is a job very stressful and dangerous to say the least, but in what many develops. Not everyone can take such a job and see through what makes a career for life. With this in mind, again I ask: “Why would anyone want to be a firefighter?” I guess my answer would be that you, along with all these negative features of the fire service, the faithful men and women who made the choice to do what they do every day are there because they love what they do.
